Does PEAK replace the RCx engineer?
No. PEAK does the data work - detection, diagnosis, prioritisation and verification. The engineering judgement, client relationship and implementation remain yours. Firms use it to redeploy engineering hours from investigation to resolution.
Does it work on old or mixed-vendor BMS estates?
Yes - that is the normal case, not the exception. Serial networks are bridged with a router, closed systems are reached through a gateway or vendor interface, and read-only access means no control-system risk. An old BMS usually means more findings, not fewer.
How fast is a building connected?
Typically two to eight weeks from data access to a meaningful first fault list, depending on BMS accessibility and point naming quality. Subsequent buildings in a portfolio connect faster.
What is the difference between RCx with PEAK and monitoring-based commissioning?
