CIM’s building analytics software, the PEAK Platform, has been deployed across four Museums Victoria sites since 2016, namely the Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum, Scienceworks, and the Moreland Annexe. By continually monitoring operational plant and equipment, the platform helps preserve precious collections, boost efficiency and sustainability, and optimise maintenance expenditure.

Melbourne Museum, located in the Carlton Gardens of Melbourne, Australia, houses a range of experiences to inspire and entertain visitors of all ages. Melbourne Museum sits within the portfolio of Museums Victoria - the largest museum organisation in the southern hemisphere, also home to the Immigration Museum and Scienceworks – as well as IMAX Melbourne, a leading museum-based research institute and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building. In connecting visitors with diverse perspectives on the natural world and history, Melbourne Museum provokes deeper learning and reflection of the world we live in – and our role in its protection and improvement.

As the custodian of more than 15 million collection items, Museums Victoria traces the natural, social and cultural records of the Australasian region. Melbourne Museum itself is a true catalyst for change, enabling visitors to make meaning of our world through enriched experiences that encourage deeper learning and a better understanding of our world.
