The rest of PEAK integrations
Workflow automation is how work leaves PEAK. It also reads your building systems over BACnet/IP, routed BACnet MS/TP, vendor APIs and scheduled extracts, and answers questions from AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot through the Model Context Protocol.
How PEAK connects to your BMSFrequently asked questions
Common questions about routing PEAK alerts into the tools your team already uses
Workflow automation is how work leaves PEAK. It sends alerts out to the tools your team already has open - Slack, Microsoft Teams, email and SMS - so a fault reaches the person who can act on it without anyone monitoring a dashboard. Every alert carries its priority, site, equipment and diagnosis, and those fields decide where it goes and who hears about it.
Yes. Alerts route to Slack, Microsoft Teams, email and SMS out of the box, and to anything else reachable through Zapier or an API webhook. The PEAK alert is the trigger; you set the conditions and the destination, so a P1 fault can interrupt a channel immediately while lower priorities collect in a daily digest.
Open Integrations in the PEAK sidebar and start from one of the templates, or build your own in Zapier. Most take a few minutes and need no code. Workflow automation is available on premium sites, and your customer success manager can set the first ones up alongside your team.
Yes. Routing can use any field the alert carries - site, priority, equipment type, assignee or date range. The same chiller fault can reach a different team depending on which asset it happens at, and out-of-hours rules can differ from business hours. The templates on this page are a starting point rather than the full set; anything Zapier reaches can be built.
Workflow automation is included on premium PEAK sites, with no additional CIM charge. A Zapier account is free to create; their paid tiers unlock higher volumes and multi-step workflows if you need them.
